Welcome to the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester. If you are visiting this website for the first time, we hope that it will provide a greater understanding of our Community Foundation -- our mission, the people we touch and the community that we serve. 

The Community Foundation differs from most other public charities because it is not a single-focus charity. It is instead, a catalyst for community change. The Foundation enhances the quality of life in our community through endowments in a number of areas, including: Culture, Community Development, Education, Environment, Human Concerns, and Youth. The Foundation is directed by a Board of Trustees and a Membership comprised of local citizens. Their knowledge of our community allows the Foundation to form the vital partnerships with other non-profit agencies required to serve current and emerging local needs and make the Greater Rochester area even greater!
